Thursday November 7th, 2019 from 3.30 pm Researchers of the Yunus Social Business Center University of Florence organize the workshop “Co-design incubation processes for high-impact social businesses”, along with Impact Hub Florence and LITA.co Italia for Impact Now Florence, the event on impact investing and positive change.
The workshop is designed to identify possible improvements to make incubation processes for social businesses more effective and efficient. For this reason it is not only open to social entrepreneurs but to all students, researchers, experts, members of local organizations and entrepreneurs in the making that want to express their idea. Based on their own experinece, participants will identify the strengths and weaknesses of current incubation practices and help each other in better targeting the needs for future incubation processes.
Participants will be divided into thematic tables and together they will thinabout which stages could be added, replaced, changed in the proposed process.
At the end of the collective workshop, each table will return the ideas that emerged to the table to the other other participants.
“Assessment of social impact: methods, theories and examples”
Along with the workshop, in the first part of Impact Now Florence there will be an in-depth analysis of social impact assessment.
The Researchers of ARCO Action-Research for Co-Development, together with Agenzia LAMA, will present the tools for assessing the social impact of business and will present examples of assessments conducted with organizations and institutions with a high social impact.

Impact Now Firenze will be Thursday November 7th fro 3.30 to 8.30 pm at Impact Hub Florece in via Panciatichi, 16 – only few steps away from Rifredi Train Station.
Impact Now is the tour promoted by LITA.co Italia to talk about sustainability, impact investing and positive change. Florence is the fourth stop of the tour that will end in Milano in December.
