La Casa Ideale is an innovative initiative in the traditional CSR scenary. The project allows to support the Third Sector to enforce an inclusive development of the society without causing economic losses. With the project “La casa ideale” we want to make a change in the CSR perspective: from the donation logic to the social business logic, creating win-win scenarios for all the stakeholders.

Context
General Objective
The objective was to give the chance to the Italian non-profit organizations to purchase Leroy Merlin products with a 20% to 40% discount in a social business way (without any loss for Leroy Merlin Italia).
What we did
La Casa Ideale is an initiative promoted by Leroy Merlin Italia and the Yunus Social Business Centre University of Florence in collaboration with Fondazione Italiana Accenture. The aim of the contest was to select the 30 best projects from non profit organisations in the field of social inclusion.
The projects that has been selected, were awarded special price reduction for the purchasing of Leroy Merlin products. The purpose of this initiative was to support the Third Sector to enforce an inclusive development of the society.
