Introductory workshop on Social Business

What is a Social Business? What kind of opportunities you can get by developing your entrepreneurial ideas?

A workshop aimed at young people, university students, citizens and aspiring entrepreneurs that want to find an answer to these and other questions will take place on Friday 21rst of March at the YSBC  office in Pistoia.

It is the fifth workshop of a cycle of training and networking seminars, part of the Pistoia Social Business City  program, carried on by YSBC in collaboration with Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pistoia e Pescia and Fondazione Un Raggio di Luce Onlus, aimed at the promotion of social entrepreneurship in the province of Pistoia.

The workshop is open to up 20 participants interested in understanding the issues of Social Business and in learning how to structure an entrepreneurial idea.

Day schedule:

  • 9:30-10:00 // Participants registration
  • 10:00-11:15 // Introduction to social business
  • 11:15-11:30 // Coffee break
  • 11:30-12:35 // The experience of a local social enterprise: Rossano Ciottoli – president of Cooperativa Sociale Gemma
  • 12:35-14:00 // Break
  • 14:00-16:30 // Workshop on social business ideas

The participation is free but in order to be selected, it is required to send an email to pistoia@sbflorence.org by the 19th of March, indicating first name, surname, age and, if student, the name of the degree course attended.

Only the first 20 applications will be selected. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation, which will allow to obtain special discounts on the application fees of future initiatives organized within the Pistoia Social Business City Program.

Workshop will be held in Italian.
